women encouragement

Woman to Woman Encouragement: Someone will always be prettier. Someone will always be smarter. Someone's house will be bigger. Someone will drive a better car. Someone will earn more. Someone will travel more. Just let it go. Take care of yourself. Love yourself and your circumstances. The prettiest, slimmest woman in the world may have sadness in her heart. The most highly favored woman in your office may not be able to have children. The richest woman you know may have the car, the house, and the clothes - but might be very lonely. So, love yourself. Love who you are right now. Tell yourself "I am too blessed to be stressed." Be well. Be happy. Be blessed. Pass this on to encourage another woman because, "To the world you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world. GBU

2 years old child kidnaped by uncle

AKURE— DETECTIVES in Ondo State have rescued a two and half years old boy, Modupeoluwa Saka, who was kidnapped by his uncle, Taju Ayuba, at Ijebu-Owo, Owo Local Government Area of the state.
Police spokesman, Wole Ogodo, said the operatives of the State Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, rescued the victim from the kidnappers’ hideout after five days in their den. He said no ransom was paid.
The boy was said to have been tied to a chair in an uncompleted building along a road that leads to a popular private university in the town, when he was rescued.
Ondo State Police Command has sent its men to search for and arrest the principal suspect, Ayuba, who was said to be on the run.
Two of the kidnap suspects, Ganiyu Oseni (29) of 43, Oke-Ijebu Owo and Oderinde Joshua (18) of Owaluwa Street, Owo, have been arrested by detectives.
During interrogation, the two suspects reportedly fingered the victim’s uncle (Taju) as the person that masterminded the kidnap.
Father of the victim, Hassan Saka, who is a proprietor of a popular school in Ijebu-Owo, is half-brother to the suspect.
Police source said that the three suspects invaded the residence of the victim’s father at about 9p.m., stole N50,000 and also forcefully took the victim from the mother.
The kidnappers escaped on a motorcycle and after some hours put a call across to the victim’s father, requesting for N4.5 million as ransom to release Amos.
The case was said to have been reported to SARS and the operatives swung into action.
Vanguard gathered that during investigation, a prime suspect, Oderinde, who was feeding the victim at their hideout, was arrested.
Ogodo said Oseni and Oderinde confessed that they kidnapped the victim in the presence of the mother at gunpoint and collected him

Brown, along with a male companion, got into an altercation with a third man, and the incident became violent, according to police.
Brown, 24, and his companion “were arrested and charged with a felony assault. A victim was taken to the hospital and treated for his injuries,” the police spokesman said, adding that the beating victim “had injuries to his face.”
“They are still in our custody,” Clay said of the pop star and his friend, who was described by US media as the singer’s bodyguard.
Brown is the ex-boyfriend of pop singer Rihanna, with whom he has had a tempestuous on-again, off-again relationship.
He was arrested in February 2009 after getting involved in a physical confrontation with Rihanna that left her with a bruised and battered face.
He was required, after pleading guilty in court to the assault, to take part in domestic violence counseling and sentenced to five years’ probation and community service.

A school has been forced to close because of an outbreak of Britain's most venomous spider.

False widow spiders force Forest of Dean school closure

A false widow spiderThe academy said it had an issue with the spiders in its ICT block as well as other areas
The Dean Academy, in the Forest of Dean, said it "had identified an issue with false widow spiders" in its ICT block and other areas of the site.
A letter from vice-principal Craig Burns to parents said the school would be shut within the week to be fumigated.
Conservationists believe a change in the climate could be the cause of an increase in sightings of the species.
'No bite reports yet'

Britain's most venomous spider

In the letter, Mr Burns said the school had taken immediate pest control advice on discovery of the spiders.
Initially the decision was taken to close the ICT block but further discoveries of the species elsewhere have led to a full school closure.
"This will enable pest control to fumigate every area in the academy and ensure everyone's health and safety," Mr Burns wrote.
"There have been no reports of anyone being bitten by the false widow spiders at the academy but if you have any concerns please seek medical advice."
The school is expected to be open as normal on Thursday.
The false widow (Steatoda nobilis) is about the size of a 50p coin and is the most dangerous of the 12 species of biting spider known in Britain.
There have been no reported deaths from its bite in the UK.
Symptoms can include severe swelling, chest pains and tingling of fingers, with the severity depending on the amount of venom injected.
Gloucestershire spider recorder David Haigh said people would have to be "very unlucky" to be bitten by one as they do not move very quickly and are not aggressive.
He said he has never heard of a school being closed due to spiders, but said recent media attention on the False Widow has led to greater awareness.

Merseyside Police said she was found at the bottom of escalators on the ground floor of Primark in Church Street, at 18:00 BST on Tuesday.
Police said the 57-year-old woman had been seen moments before at a balcony next to the third-floor escalators.
She was treated by a doctor at the scene but was pronounced dead later at the Royal Liverpool Hospital.
Five years ago, at the same store, a three-year-old girl fell through a gap between the escalators to the lower ground floor while travelling up to the third floor with her family.
