An aircraft crashed into a wall and burst into flames on the outskirts of the Indian capital, New Delhi, on Tuesday, killing all 10 people on board, officials said.

The Super King plane, chartered by the Border Security Force, was heading to the eastern city of Ranchi when it crashed shortly after taking off, a spokesman for the security force said. Most of those on board were technicians.

The cause of the crash was not known, the spokesman said.

Television footage showed fire engines at the scene as smoke poured from burning wreckage. Paramilitary forces and forensic teams also rushed to the site.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has said
that an estimated 16 million Nigerians use Indian hemp
while another seven million are on cocaine and heroin.
Ahmadu Giade, NDLEA chairman, disclosed this at the
official presentation of an anti-drug abuse campaign
tagged 'Be Smart, Don't Start'.
The campaign, which includes a television commercial,
is jointly promoted by the Agency in collaboration with
the Celebrity Drug-Free Club.
"77,488 suspected drug traffickers were arrested by the
NDLEA between 2000 and 2013 for various drug
offences even as over 100 officers died in the line of
duty since the Agency commenced operations in 1990,"
said Mr. Giade.
Members of the Celebrity Drug-Free Club that featured
in the commercial include Dayo Adeneye, Ogun State
Commissioner for Information and Strategy and Chief
Executive Officer of Prime Time Entertainment; Wilson
Ighodalo, President of Drug Salvation Foundation and
Convener of NDLEA Celebrity Drug-Free Club; and
Azuh Arinze, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Yes
Magazine.
Others include Godwin Enakhena, a sports broadcaster;
Uche Nnaji, Chief Executive Officer of Ouch Clothing;
and Wilson Joel, a music producer.
"These ambassadors are genuinely motivated to
contribute their quota to the growth and development of
our country," said Mr. Giade.
"They have invested their time and material resources
towards the success of this campaign. This is one
community service that is worthy of emulation. The
agency will continue to require the assistance and
support of champions in various fields of human
endeavours because effective drug control thrives on the
principle of collective responsibility."
While calling on families, schools, organizations and individuals to take
the campaign beyond the television screen, the NDLEA boss urged
international organizations, corporate bodies and individuals to take
advantage of this opportunity by sponsoring the commercial on national
and international media stations.
"We must continue to work very hard in reducing the number of persons
who use drugs and also support the agency in preventing casualties in the
war against drug cartels.
"Every contribution towards drug control is a worthy investment towards
a peaceful and secure society. Let me appeal to donor agencies to see this
as a viable investment opportunity."
Mr. Ighodalo said members of the club were deeply committed to the anti-
drug abuse campaign.

When I was younger, there was a saying life begins at forty. I didn't understand it then but I fully grasp it now.

Why?

This year I learned how to win and how to fail and both lessons were invaluable. I had a few great wins and I learned that each win raises the bar.

Each wow creates a higher standard.  I had a few failures too and I learned that failure is just data and if you choose to analyze it, it just may hold the key to success.

This year I learned how to hold on and when to let go. I learned that sometimes the most loving thing you can do is to walk away but also sometimes the most loving thing is to confront things when necessary.

Conflict doesn't have to be a bad thing. The Chinese ideogram for conflict contains two characters: One means danger and the other hidden opportunity.

Conflict is an opportunity and as such should not be feared.

My plans for 2016 are to be fully present in each moment. To seize every hour of everyday. I plan to grow my business and continue to seek out opportunities to have a greater impact in the world.

This would have been a cheering news to most youths in Nigeria if they can even be able to graduate from the federal universities in the country but yet its still a welcome news to unemployed Nigerians as the federal government has concluded plans to commence payment of N5, 000 stipends.

The government explained that the initial delayed in the commencement of the payment was because it was not captured in the 2015 budget promising that it will be included in the 2016 budget.

This disclosure was made by the minister of youth and sports, Barr. Solomon Darlong when he visited the national secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Abuja, The Nation reports.

Darlong noted that arrangement for the payment will take effect from 2016.

He told newsmen that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration will fulfill every of his campaign promises including payment of N5, 000 stipends to unemployed Nigerians.

The minister said: " I want the youths to understand that every promise must be backed up by budgetary provision and our promise to pay N5,000 is not contained in the 2015 budget. So, definitely, it is going to begin in 2016 as we have made budgetary allocations for that.

"We are committed to the campaign promises of creating jobs, providing wealth creation and combat poverty. We have embedded in our manifesto things that we are translating to reality.

"Some of the youth empowerment programmes that are ongoing, we are busy reviewing them to ensure that they are more viable and people oriented. We are also looking at the possibility of realigning some of them to our vision so that in the final analysis, it will add value to the people ."

Meanwhile, Senator Ben Murray Bruce representing Bayelsa state at the National Assembly had reportedly explained to Buhari how he can effectively pay the N5,000 he promised to pay unemployed Nigerians.

The Lagos State police command arrested eight men over the weekend for allegedly murdering one Akeem Ajanaku who was attacked at Enu-Owa/Ido Olowu area of Lagos Island.
The suspects, Animashaun Akeem, Qudus Atakoro, Abduramon Onisemo, Muritala Oyejobi, Tabiu Mujib, Iyaniwura Idris, Tayo Oladimeji, and Segun Adeyemi, were arrested by the police at the scene of the murder, unfortunately, others escaped.
It was gathered that on November, 15, 2015, at about 1pm, thugs armed with cutlasses, axes, guns and other dangerous weapons attacked Akeem Ajanaku at Ido-Olowa/Enu-owa
According to Supol Segun Adebayo, who reported the case at the Adeniji-Adele Central Police Station, Akeem Ajanaku, was rushed to the Lagos Island General Hospital by the police and other sympathizers; where he died.

Tayo Oladimeji, who was supposedly one of the suspects denied being involved. He said:

> "I was at home sleeping on a Saturday morning when I heard my mum's voice asking if I wont go to work. Reluctantly, I got up from my bed and headed towards the bathroom to take my bath when I was arrested.''

> "I don't know anything. I was in my shop that Monday when policemen came to arrest me, saying I was involved in last Sunday's fracas on Lagos Island. The only encounter that I had was when some unknown guys came to me at Oduduwa bus stop and collected my wristwatch.

Senators are to receive free Facebook training, says the Chief of Staff to the President of the Senate, Sen. Isa Galaudu on Thursday in Abuja.

Galaudu, in a letter sent to the senators inviting them for the event, said the training was in line with the promise of the leadership of the 8th Senate to utilise the social media.

"Senators and their aides receive training on use of facebook in line with the promise of the President of the Senate to ensure more representative legislature using e-parliamentary tools.
"This is a partnership between the Office of the Senate President and Facebook.

"Senators and aides who wish to participate in the programme should please email with their full names.''

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that the Facebook team, led by the African Head of Public Policy, will be in Nigeria at the weekend for the training slated for Monday.

According to the Special Assistant to the President of the Senate on Social Media, Bamikole Omishore, the training is at no cost to the senate as Facebook offered to conduct the training for free.

The Nigeria Golden Eaglets became only the second side to retain the FIFA U-17 World Cup with a 2-0 win against Mali in Vina Del Mar. Victor Osimhen stole the show once again thanks to his record-breaking tenth goal of the tournament, with Funsho Bamgboye adding a second moments later. Samuel Diarra had saved an early Osinachi Ebere penalty as the Malians played their part in an entertaining finale to Chile 2015.

The penalty came as both sides were just finding their rhythm in the opening exchanges, Chato the culprit with a handball. Ebere saw his low effort saved brilliantly by Diarra, the No17's follow up header hit the bar before a third bite of the cherry was blocked by the Malian defence.

Both sides had chances in a tense opening period, with Golden Eaglets skipper Kelechi Nwakali hitting just wide and Boubacar Traore seeing his glancing header tipped over by Akpan Udoh.

The second half saw the game burst into life, with Emmanuel Amuneke's words clearly working their magic on the Nigerian youngsters. Osimhen shrugged off the challenge of Mamadou Fofana before hitting a wonderful dipping half volley towards goal, which Diarra spectacularly saved. Udochukwu Anumudu then smashed a thunderous effort at goal, which rebounded back off the crossbar and was cleared away.

Mali did not heed those warnings. Good approach play by substitute Chinedu Madueke saw him tee up Osimhen for his record-breaking goal, seeing him surpass the nine goals scored by Florent Sinama Pongolle in 2001 and Souleymane Coulibaly ten years later.

The holders doubled their advantage mere minutes later, with Bamgboye bursting down the Nigerian left before smashing a powerful effort at goal, Diarra standing little chance. Despite a couple of late chances for Mali, from corner kicks, Nigeria retained possession for large spells and saw the game out to retain their crown. The jubilant scenes on the final whistle in Vina Del Mar will surely live long in the memories of these Nigerian heroes of the present, some of whom may just become the stars of the future.

NIGERIA MAKES HISTORY TODAY - Nigeria enter the history books today as only the second country to retain the U17 World Cup courtesy of  2-0 victory of Mali in the final of the championship in Chile. Brazil were the first team to successfully defend this trophy – they won in 1997 and retained it in 1999.

The Golden Eaglets have already won the competition a record four times, and successfully defended the trophy they won two years ago in Abu Dhabi. Today's showdown was the second  all-African FIFA U17 World Cup. The first was in 1993, when Nigeria beat Ghana 2-1 at Japan '93.

Mother of Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that she wanted to abort the baby when she was pregnant with the football star.

She revealed this in a scene at the end of the new film about Cristiano Ronaldo's life.

JACK MUSA GOWON PROTESTED VEHEMENTLY THROUGH HIS LEGAL TEAM THAT HE WAS INNOCENT AND WAS FRAMED UP AND HIS PROTEST WERE IGNORED BY THE JURY AND WAS HARSHLY SENTENCED TO 324 MONTHS IN PRISON FOLLOWED BY FIVE YEARS OF SUPERVISED RELEASE.

AS AN INMATE OF TAFT CORRECTIONAL FACILITY, MUSA JACK GOWON WAS A ROLE MODEL AND A LEGAL ADVISER TO ALL THE INMATES.

HE WAS WELL BEHAVED AND A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION TO CO-INMATES WHO HAVE GIVEN UP ON LIFE. THE PRISON WARDEN LOVED AND WORSHIPED THE GROUND HE TREAD ON.

PERMIT ME TO MENTION THAT MUSA ENROLLED IN ONE OF THE UNIVERSITIES AROUND AND SUCCESSFULLY GRADUATED WITH A DEGREE IN LAW AS A PRISON INMATE.

THIS COMMENDABLE ACT OF LEADERSHIP DID NOT GO UNNOTICED AND HE WAS REWARDED SEVERALLY BY PRISON AUTHORITIES.

WHILE ALL THESE WERE GOING ON, MUSA'S FAMILY HAS NEVER STOPPED FIGHTING TO GET HIM OUT OF PRISON AND CALLS FOR HIS RELEASE BEGAN TO GROW LOUDER.

HAPPY TO REPORT THAT PRESIDENT OBAMA HEARD THE CALLS FOR MUSA'S RELEASE AND ACTED IN THAT REGARD BY GRANTING HIM A PAROLE.

MUSA WALKED OUT OF TAFT CORRECTIONAL FACILITY BAKERSFIELD CALIFORNIA AS A FREE MAN ON NOVEMBER 2ND AND HE IS CURRENTLY AT ICE DETENTION CENTER BAKERSFIELD CA WHERE HE WILL BE DEPORTED BACK TO NIGERIA ANY MOMENT FROM NOW.

MUSA JACK NGONAADI IS GRATEFUL TO HIS DAD, GENERAL YAKUBU GOWON, HIS FRIENDS AND HIS RELATIVES FROM HIS MATERNAL SIDE WHO STOOD BY HIM AND SUPPORTED HIM ALSO ALL THROUGH THE PERIOD OF HIS UNJUST INCARCERATION THAT HE DID NOT COMMIT THE CRIME HE WAS WRONGLY ACCUSED OF.
